For three generations, Interstate Manufacturing Company has designed and built tooling, fixtures, and machined parts for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers across the Northeast, from single prototypes to full production runs. Three generations of family ownership, one 17,500 square foot facility, and the kind of on-time delivery that keeps customers around for decades, not just for one order.

Manufacturing the Future
IMC has held on to the tool and die expertise that built this company from the beginning, even as our production volume has grown, so you're never trading one capability for the other. Most shops pick a lane: tool-and-die work or production runs. We offer both.
Multi-Axis Machining
3, 4, and 5-axis CNC — parts up to 5 feet in milling and roughly 50 inches in diameter for turning.
MACHINING
Tooling & Fixtures
We design and build the tooling and fixtures that hold parts in place, then machine the fixture assemblies.

Prototype something new on Monday and have 500 of them running by the following month.

IMC has been in Agawam since 1998 , and the company dates back to 1973. We're ITAR registered with the Department of State and a member of Aerospace Components Manufacturers.
We've worked with Pratt & Whitney, Collins Aerospace, GE, and Kaman Air Vehicles, and our clients have stayed with us for years, even decades!

In 2022, IMC added 7,500 square feet to our facility, bringing us to 17,500 square feet total, and we have invested several million dollars in new equipment since then. The shop area is climate-controlled, the machines are of the latest technology and the people running them have decades of combined experience.
